Our Sense of Touch (Nature) Challenge finished on Saturday, 28 Mar 2015 This is the second of five challenges concerning the five senses: sight, touch, sound, taste and smell. All are be nature-based. This challenge is showcasing TOUCH. Show us EITHER the fingers, claws, feet, antennae etc which assists touch, in animals, birds, insects, spiders etc., OR the texture of an object in nature suggesting smooth, rough, hard, soft,silky etc in plants and flowers, insects, birds, natural landscapes. No humans' fingers or domestic pets please in your entry. And not too many gorillas' hands. Man-made objects and structures should be minimal. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size: 1,600px on the longer side of your entry.

Sony Alpha Inspiration Challenge finished on Friday, 27 Mar 2015 It seems many of us A-mount shooters feel forgotten/neglected. Here's an open challenge (no them or subject restriction) to re-inspire ourselves and remember why we love our A-mount cameras. No capture date rule, no processing rules. The only requirement is that your image be captured with a Sony A-mount camera. E-mount (Nex, etc) submissions will be disqualified. Depending on turnout, I may start a new series of challenges for Alpha shooters, each with a different theme. Good luck everyone!
