DSLR Equipment - special rules; read carefully!

This is the last stage of the standard equipment series. Get out your bulky DSLR - excluding full formats. This challenge is post processing restricted still - but I will not check for it. Just be nice to your colleagues and don't cheat! This is a 'beginners challenge' hoping to attract some pros showing us how to do it right. We want to learn - please comment the pictures! Please be creative!

Monday, 31st December, 2012 (GMT)

Submissions:

Monday, 7th January, 2013 – Sunday, 13th January, 2013 (GMT)

Voting:

Monday, 14th January, 2013 – Sunday, 20th January, 2013 (GMT)

Processing rules:

post-processing discouraged with the exception of cropping/resizing and white compensation.
Filters etc provided by the camera are allowed but discouraged, too.
If you use either please document what you did - we want to learn from you!

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Full EXIF information is required.
Pictures shall not exceed 1600px on the longest side. This shall hinder Megapixel mania and hopefully improve chances for creative pictures.
Please enter a complete list of equipment used and an estimated list price.
The second shall allow us to make some comparisons against the effort we invested (to compare factors of image quality against cost).
Note: any cheat will lead to disqualification without pre-warning or further notice.

I've finished disqualification for size and sensor restrictions.
If you feel I made an error please complain by private message.
Especially to those five with full frame cameras:
Please be so kind an re-enter at the currently open challenge which has no sensor size restriction.

Dear voters:
please also take into account whether the description of post processing and gear list is present.
You may also (if you want) give positive points for describing the steps performed taking the shot - the photograph has understood the intention of this challenge and this may be honored...
You may also pump up your vote when you think the photograph did especially good work with especially low sophisticated gear - to honor the gift of the photograph.

Why didn't you just do what you are meant to do and DQ them before voting started, then they could have easily re-submitted . . . you have made a mess here.

Pardon my ignorance but I would like to know what is the relevance of information on "estimated list price" in a photo challenge? Thank you.

The general idea of the series is:
a) how much do I need to drag around to gain a result X?
b) how much effort do I need to gain a specific result?
It started with compacts up to 400g, second was complete camera up to 800g, now we have DSLRs, next is full frame (twice).
The 800g challenge was a flop in my eyes therefore I consider to add an EVIL (= mirrorless) challenge.
