I Spy: Lovers

How can you get angry and this person for simply naming a challenge?! It is to the photographer to enter the challenge and choose his or her subjects. MasterCBC didn't tell you what to shoot or how to shoot it. I am new to the photography world and i was hoping to learn from you all and have fun with these challenges, lets keep an open mind to all Topics. Personally, I think that a majority of the photos are appropriate. Just my two cents!

Hi, I'm really sorry that my challenge has caused much discomfort for some, it all started as a kind of game in which you believed you were supposed spy. For my part believe me no more of these kinds of challenges. if I could remove the title "I Spy" I would, but once started is impossible. We must still respect the participants of this challenge who have shown some very good pictures. And I must ckeck why I do not get notifications when people comment in this board. My apologies.

I also have some difficulty with challenges which promote uninvited intrusion into peoples’ privacy, particularly telephoto shots taken at moments of intimacy even if they are in a public or semi-public setting (where one’s expectation of privacy should be limited by the setting). In saying this, I am not advocating a total prohibition on photographs of couples. However, the photograph of the couple in the pool is, in my opinion, inappropriate. I doubt the photographer has their consent. I would be less than happy if the young, clearly identifiable girl in the shot was my daughter or my sister. If I had come upon the scene portrayed in the shot, I would have felt compelled to leave my camera in its case out of respect for the privacy and dignity of subjects of the picture.

My feelings on this matter are deepened because voyeurism can be implied from the title of the competition (I Spy…), the advice given by the host (“Be careful not to be caught…”) and his rules (“You are a spy”)

I must admit these types of challenges always make me feel a bit uncomfortable, taking what can be quite intimate pictures of people you dont know & then downloading them onto a public forum without I presume the knowledge of the subjects?,

I agree with the previous two comments. These challenges are just plain creepy!

The term 'paparazzi' comes immediately to mind when I see this Host's challenges. I'm not comfortable at all with the concept of spying on people, particularly in intimate situations.
