I don't want to stress the issue too much, but ... ;-)
at first I had to think about "FOG", what actually is it?
Look up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fog
So fog is a type of stratus cloud - things getting complicated!
And then there are haze (dry particles!) and mist

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mist
Now we know, it's fog if the visibility is one kilometer or less!
So lots of the pictures here show scenes in the mist.
I withdraw mine and need to find a foggy one.

Absolutely true. I don't even start voting, it is too overwhelming.
Unfair is the right word.

Four hundred (400) entries are just too many for most voters to consider, and give a genuine, honest assessment of each entry. I KNOW the voters don't have to vote on every entry, but that means that many will just look at the thumbnail shots. IMO, this is an unfair way to judge the entries, and I have yet to meet anyone who is happy to have his/her photos judged by thumbnail-size pictures.

I concur, Ruth. That's exactly why I withdrew my entry. Why waste a good shot if the chances of it even being looked at are so much less in a crowded challenge like this?
