Maybe the host could list all his unstated rules in a message, it would have saved a lot of time and aggravation...

I was surprised to see this message in my Email " like your image but you are a CHEATER!!! Submitted: Friday, 5th October, 2012 23:32 (GMT) Taken: Saturday, 6th October, 2012 These are from your last image! I'm really sorry but you are banned from any of my future challenges!"
I am NOT a cheater! I discovered after your e mail that I somehow did not set up the time in my camera correctly. The camera is new, I've had the camera for several weeks.
I had an entry but I withdrew it after taking a shot yesterday (OCT5) that I thought was better. I entered it yesterday after PP it very fast before the challenge filled up.
It's a misunderstanding that occured from me not noticing previously that I set up the time in my camera incorrectly. I understand why you can't use the shot in your challenge but I'm not a cheater.
I would have messaged you Alexandru if I could have, instead of responding here.

Hi, Alexandru... and beg to disagree with some of the communication below.
I'd just want to highlight the fact that your Challenge introduction and rules allow for your theme (the frogs) to be photographed in any kind of ambient.
What you expressly require is the title, and what you expressly forbid is phone cameras. Otherwise, as long as there's frogs, visible and not hidden in water etc... from what you wrote, such images are acceptable.
Consider the frog peeking out of the blue vessel of some kind: they kind of tend to make just anything their "natural ambience"... Be it shoes, or plastic cans, or whatever. In human surrounding, animals don't have much of a choice.
Long story short, I'd suggest some more lenient approach, since the Entrants had no way of knowing what you actually wanted them to submit.
Also, banning people for asking questions is, to my mind, wrong.
So please reinstate the entries DQ'd for the reasons you described below, and let the voters judge them.

FOUL! UNFAIR! You disqualified my entry because it was a metal sculptured frog? No where in your discription does it say the "frog" has to be live! I guess because you are the challenge host, you can do anything you want -- but next time maybe you'll be more clear about the rules.
