Processing rules:

Digitally taken photos with full EXIF only.
Longer side of the photo MUST NOT be over 1600px.
Format and Aspect may be as you please.
Minor Post-Processing interventions are acceptable.
No Composite photos - One-Shot photo contents only.
No Frames nor Borders.
No watermarks, no date/time nor any other identification allowed.

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Observe DPR Rules on decency. Entries which may offend the viewer in any sense will be disqualified.
Respect the feelings of others! If there are people involved, for instance, in some kind of accident, their identity and accident location MUST be made unrecognizable, otherwise the Entry will be disqualified.
Your Entry MUST have a Title. Camera-code titled entries (alone or anywhere within the Title) will be disqualified.
DO NOT add any kind of description. The picture has to be sufficient.
DO NOT comment under individual entries until the end of Voting Period so as not to influence fair judgment. Comments will be removed.
Sandbagging, vote soliciting or any other improper voting attempt will cause disqualification. Begging for undeserved glory is low and disgusting. Entries showing tendencious voting pattern may be removed.
Entrants / Voters caught cheating in any DPR Challenge are NOT WELCOME in my Challenge, and will be removed on sight.

Congrats, Winners! And, perhaps it should be highlighted, all of you who did follow the simple rules!
I wish I didn't have to issue any disqualifications at all, but there are always many which simply have no time to read, expecting me to warn them about the things they missed when preparing their entries for submission.
Please do bear in mind that this is not meant to work that way. Hosts can't be expected to have their eyeballs glued to the monitor 24/7. Rather, it's the Entrants which are supposed to submit their works in accordance with the aims, intro and the rules of a Challenge.
To my mind, blaming the host for investing time and effort to issue warnings about what the 100 entrants should have had known up to 1 week before the submitting phase begins, and then during the whole week when the entries are being submitted - it is a bit too much spoiled behavior.
Thus, before complaining in your comments, please remember those who enter their works correctly. Everyone can do so.

Further disappointing when a host can't even be bothered to answer a genuine issue - below! I too was only notified when the challenge finished, giving me no time to re-send.

I'm sorry, but you did add a desription, which was a reason to DQ your, otherwise excellent shot. Do not blame the host for your mistakes. There were sufficient rule warnings, and these have to be equal to all. Regards

I am very disappointed to learn this morning that my entry of 2 cockatoos fighting has been disqualified because of the title which simply said 'This time I'm putting my foot down'. This is clearly seen in the photo and was just stating the obvious. The additional rules asked for a title. I haven't used additional description. The part that doesn't make sense is there are similar photos in this challenge that have not been disqualified. I do take 'care' to read the rules and am miffed by this disqualification. Fair is fair and this is not.

I am sorry for your disappointment, but your entry was not DQ'd for the reason you state. So, the only part that doesn't make sense is trying to blame the host for your own mistake (like writing in the description field and then forgetting about it).
Please do follow all the rules the first time you submit an entry, and - like all other entrants that were not DQ'd - you'll have no problems.

While I respect adherence to the rules, the policing of adherence should be just and fair if you are "moderating" or judging or keeping the field. While I had my first entry disqualified, I had the chance to resubmit. However, disqualification AFTER the voting starts is simply unfair. I will not enter any challenges by "OldArrow" from now on.

I take care to write understandable and clear rules, with ample warnings about the need to observe those. If you can't be bothered to read or remember them, do not blame the host.
Also, do not expect me to spend my whole day policing the challenge, just so's to be able to remind you of things that you were suppposed to see yourself, the first tme around. Sometimes I spot an error too late to issue a warning. Bear in mind that I don't like to DQ, and would be happy if everyone followed the rules up front, but when a complaint is issued about my missing some wrongly entered work, I have to react, even if it is too late for an entry to be resubmitted.
I am sorry, but the rules are to be observed by every entrant, and there can't be exceptions, because that's when complaints start pouring in.
You may or may not want to enter any more of my challenges, but if you do, please follow all the rules like everyone else.

114 entries were sent in to this Challenge.

During and after submiitting phase:
12 complaints were issued
10 entries were withdrawn (to replace with rule-conforming versions)
60 entries were disqualified (for not observing the rules)
6 comments had to be deleted (for being placed prior to Exhibit phase)
54 finally remained to be voted upon.

This is by no means unique. To my sorrow, almost every Challenge shows similar statistic.

There is the Rules Warning in the Introduction. There are the Challenge rules. And there is an additional visual warning posted as a Sample Entry.

I wonder, what more does it take to make the Entrants read and follow the frame of a Challenge? Aren't photographers supposed to be more observant and careful?

PLEASE do remember to observe the Rules in ALL CHALLENGES!

Well I certainly wonder why my photo have been deleted. Maybe there are to many rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny how my Exif data dissapired after uploading the image. Thank you DPR. But anyway why do anyone want the exif?

@ Fraxinus excelsior: You got an explanation with the disqualification note and it was meant to be read by you. Since you didn't, I'll post it here:
"Hi, there are the rules and additional visual and textual warnings that these were all to be followed. One of those clearly states: "DO NOT add any kind of description. The picture has to be sufficient".
That was the reason for your entry having been DQ'd (and NOT deleted - it's still there!).
So please remember to read all the text related to the challenge.
