We have all seen it at one time or the other; a single leaf that seems to make a statement or just strikes us as unique. Because that first visual image caused us to shoot the leaf please keep post processing to a minimum. IF YOU ENTER THIS CHALLENGE PLEASE VOTE! If the voters are too few then an entry can win by just a few of the submitter's friends voting for it.

Processing rules:

No composites (which means no HDR).
Keep it simple.
Keep it natural.
No blurring (making portions out of focus) of any part of the image though post processing.
Do not over vignette (If I think it has been overdone I will disqualify it so if you think you may have added too much don't submit it).

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

The main subject must be a single leaf NOT TOUCHED by another leaf
No borders
Copyrights and signatures are OK but be warned that they may distract from the image.
Maximum 1600 pixels on the longest edge.
No prior Challenge entries allowed

I thought the rule was: "subject must be a single leaf NOT TOUCHED by another leaf" Can it be touched by leaves of a different tree/plant?

No it can't but it can be seperated in distance. I am still going through images.
