My best picture this week

I didn't vote on this image as I followed my usual course in this challenge of just awarding 4 or 5 stars to those images that really stood out to me. If voting on every image, I would have given your entry "001" a score of 2: I don't like the plain black background, most of the hair is too dark to show any detail, there seems to be a strange color cast to the skin and to the hair that is hanging down, and the title doesn't add anything to the picture. But that's just my opinion, and everyone likes different things--if you're happy with the shot, then continue to be happy! That's a delightful-looking child your friend has, especially if she was smilingly patient as you got the shot set up.
