I am going to give all posters of over sized shots (check the rules) 24 hours to adjust there images, then it is disqualify time. :-(

Before voting starts a DQ is not permanent, meaning the Entrant can re-submit . . . the sooner you DQ the more time an Entrant has to re-submit.

Of course when you DQ in a Challenge that is full there is the risk of the freed places being taken by new Entrants like Nazeer . . . c'est la vie.

Ask some of the Entrants that have 4 entries if they will withdraw one or two . . so you can enter your single entry.

I had posted comments on most shots, I had named the individuals in my opening address............ this appears to be taboo, So I removed all comments.

All removed. I assume you are the Challenge police or watchdog. I must have missed the part in challenge rules not to name individuals, thanks for pointing it out.

If you want to encourage biased voting or revenge voting in your Challenge go ahead . . . part of your job as a Host is to keep things fair not to prevent it.

If you can't take criticism and aren't prepared to learn from mistakes then maybe your first Challenge should also be your last.

Hi Raptor. Criticism I can handle (been part of this wonderful platform DPR for a long time). What I saw as a blunt pounch I can not. If you, (assume again) are part of the DPR Team & feel I am unable to host, then remove me. If I survive, I will learn as most do & will continue with challenges. Threats, this African does not respond to well.

LOL . . . I can assure you I am not part of the DPR team in any way shape or form, if you read a few more threads in the Challenge Discussion forum you will see I am one of the biggest critics of DPR .

My "blunt punch" ? you mean my suggestion ? you are free to ignore anything I write . . .

You may have been a member of DPR for a long time but you don't seem to have much experience with the Challenges . . . if you don't want help to avoid messing your Challenge up then OK, I'll say no more.

Hi Raptor. You are certainly correct in me not having experience in DPR challenges, as for other on line challenges, I can more than hold my own :-).

I have checked your active participation & note you are not a current participant of Challenges (unless I missed something). Did note your checking of dates & drawing folks attention to errors, you must have a lot of time on your hands.

I would love to see some of your work not counting your great shots of cars.

My assumption of you being part of DPR results from your mail address :-). I will kick off another challenge & hopefully will not step on any mine field & hopefully make a meaningful contribution to my favorite photographic site DPReview.

You have no way of knowing if I am a current participant or not, current challenge entries are not shown in a user's profile when viewed by other users.

When you announce your next Challenge you might ask for feedback in the Challenge Discussion Forum, you will get some helpful feedback. Some people in the Forum are very helpful and will help if they can. Before the Challenge has entries you still have the option to change the wording.

Re: my email address, it is just one of many, the bit before the @ can be whatever I choose to make it . . . ERWizard@ would work equally well . . . ;-)

Next time please make your "largest size" 1600 rather than 1500. This will put you in line with most other challenges, which is helpful to entrants trying to standardise images in their entries and galleries. Thanks.

Did you mean 1600 pixels instead of 1500? 1600 is usually the size requested in challenges.
