This is a challenge for photos that have been post-processed to not look like photos. It could be something as simple as a posterization or as complex as a custom "art filter." Your entry must include some text describing how you post-processed the image.

Processing rules:

The post-processing must not involve substitution of hand-drawn content; it should be a transformation of a single captured photo. Adding a canvas or other texture, or computer-generated effects like shaped flare, is permitted.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Say something about how you post-processed the image: an in-camera art filter, the oil painting filter in GIMP, etc. ENTRIES WITHOUT TEXT SAYING HOW THE IMAGE WAS PROCESSED WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
No photographs of paintings, etc. -- the non-photographic look must derive from post-processing, not the original scene content.

This challenge has produced some of the most outstanding images I've ever seen. I have virtually zero experience in PP, so I really don't have a clue as to how to get results like these. Wow! is about all I can say. This has inspired me to want to learn some of these techniques. I think it would be great if the top challenge entries would be so kind as to give a tutorial on how they've managed to achieve such awe-inspiring pieces of art! I'd also like to see the original picture, but I don't know how we'd go about doing that. Just my random thoughts on this challenge.
