The capture date rules on these challenges are pretty unrealistic and ridiculous. Anyone can pretty much change their meta-data to say the image was taken whenever they want, heck it's even an option in the submission process. Unless it's obviously a winter scene and the challenge is in July, there's no way of knowing the actual capture date. Would people please get over it and stop imposing capture date rules? It'd be nice if people actually went out and shot images just for a challenge but lets get real; it doesn't always happen like that.
