Hi, I think I know what you meant by "exactly" 50mm but to be clear if I do not have a full frame camera and I use an APS-C camera (7D) with my 50mm 1.8 this means my actual focal length is 80mm (50mm x 1.6 crop factor). Therefore my entry is not valid right?

I am wondering the same thing, as I have a 1.5x crop sensor too.

I think that the Host was clear enough...In fact he specified "actual focal length, not 35mm equivalent"...So your 50mm is perfect,but it would be perfect even if mounted on a full frame camera :)
If you look at exif data,they say "50mm and not 80" ;)
