No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Must be Black and White or Monochrome or Sepia
No watermarks or any other identifying marks/text
No titles, no descriptions: in this photo-challenge you should be able to express yourself with images... leave words to writers!
Suggested Titles: "Untitled" or "-" (dash) or just leave the file-name suggested by the system when you upload your photo (As long as it's not descriptive!).
The longest size should be equal or below 1600 pixel: THIS IS NOT A RULE but a suggestion for a better evaluation of photos during the voting period. Not everyone is lucky enough to have fast internet access and huge monitors!
If you're planning acts like sandbagging, voter solicitation or cheating, PLEASE DON'T PARTICIPATE! They wouldn't help you to be a better photographer, but only a better... loser!

Personally I think that - after the image itself - the title should be the most important part of a challenge - however the way that DPR arranges the display of images usually causes it to get lost or ignored during the voting.

I can see that it could be used in any of the schemes that some have cooked up to game the voting - but these are "no prizes" competitions where the principle reward is the opportunity show off your creativity - or sense of humor.

I respect your point of view but here the real challenge for participants is to be able to communicate their feelings and emotions WITHOUT words and colours.

This is my point of view and on this I've based these series. I don't expect that everyone shares my opinions, but anyway there are plenty of challenges where you can put titles and descriptions.

Anyway, I'm not forcing anyone to participate: all members are free to choose the challenge where submit their pictures.
