Photographer audition: Postcard II

The client, a postcard publisher, was quite pleased with their recent photographer audition and now want to see examples of print-ready art. They want typical touristic scenes with appropriate titles and/or captions. Submit one or two postcard images from well-recognized location, complete with text overlays (in English). The image must be horizontal (landscape orientation) and 2:3 or 3:4 proportion. The image must not have any recognizable people visible.

Thank you guys for your help. I disabled Google Chrome, went back to old browser and all seems to work ok. I am not able to thank DP Feedback for I am still waiting for life or smoke signs from their part.

I tried and I tried, to other challenges too. I am not able to pass the "preparing for uploading. For this challenge, I tried the whole day, today after entry #32. There are running so far to 50, I am not able to get in. Neither with "Brick Toys", "Macro" . So definitely there is something wrong. So far nobody got back to me, neither Feedback

I was also facing the same problem. I noticed following things. Might be it helps you.
1. Don't give space in file name use _ if require
2. Internet speed is slow
3. Clear the browser cache.
4. Re-login and try again.

I faced the same problem on Google Chrome. Then I Zoomed Out (Ctrl + Scroll Mouse Wheel Down) and everything worked fine.. :)

Hi guys,
Is there a problem with DP site cause since this morning I am not able to upload photos to challenges neither my gallery.

Folks, go to a local tourist destination or souvenir shop and have a look at the postcards. They have nice photos but, just as importantly, they have bold and contrasting text identifying the location. While I won't disqualify the wimpy entries submitted already, they are at risk of scoring poorly.

But in my humble opinion, a lot of this great postcard are sheerly spoiled by such a bold text.

Oh, I agree. It becomes a balancing act. My concern is that most entries are very wimpy with the text overlay. My submission might be a bit TOO bold, but only to provide a contrasting example.
