When I bought my first digital camera my first picture was of the sandwich I was eating at the time I took it out of the box. When I buy a new camera it's now a little personal tradition to make the first picture one of a sandwich. I was wondering wether some of you do the same with the first shots with a new camera. Be honest please, it's not about the first GOOD picture, but about the genuine first one.

I suppose there is no way to know, and I really want to believe, but it is difficult for me to look at some of these pictures and think "yes, I believe this person unwrapped a new camera and didn't take a first picture with it until they were in an open field under a beautiful blue sky with fluffy clouds, or in golden afternoon light looking at a beautiful tree".
The hand held out in front of the camera, now THAT is easy to believe.

as it is providing us to peak into the first step of so many fine artists from round the globe..

obviously resizing is fine, and no, the idea is the FIRST shot!
