B&W with only one colored detail

Thanks Sparkey I'll try your suggestion. I just love the B&W with that one pop of color. New at this and everyone's entries are wonderful. Thanks again.

To Lotte, you have to take an image and create a duplicate layer then convert it to B&W. Add a layer mask between them and then paint back in what you want to show in color.
I use Photoshop Elements so the process is the same but the masking process different different. If you want I'll post a screen print in my gallery you can study.

There are other ways but this one should be the simplest if you've never tried it before.

Clarification, I am seeing plenty of images with multicolors. Are you wanting one color only or are you allowing multiable colors as long as it is contained to a single object?
