Minor editing such as exposure, contrast and such for small fixes is acceptable

Maybe another "Doors" challenge is due... you know... a fair one.

You disqualified my entry for having HDR processing when in actual fact it had none. What you saw was the actual texture of the door, so you removed my entry on a totally subjective & incorrect guess.
Maybe they should have qualification tests for selecting hosts.

Hi, HDR effect in your picture was not only at the door but also on the floor. So, it's hard to assess it as merely texture of the door. Sorry....

I'd appreciate if it this and other challenge hosts were more precise in their rules: "no major photoshopping" is a vague prohibition.

Is the host talking about compositing, perhaps? (A door floating above a city, for example?)

Surely they can't object to use of adjustment layers?

Clearer guidelines on uses of the major photo software on a photo forum, please.

Hi, "no major photoshopping" is a widely used description in the post-processing related announcements of the challenges and so far, it sounds like it made sense. I will try to be more specific in the coming challenges. Thanks for the feedback
