Ride to Live

I spent a year on my motorcycle.

I shot over 5,000 images. All were stolen.

My favorite, I had a ranger take of me crossing Donner Pass. The snow on each side of the road was over 30 feet deep. It was starting to snow heavily when he told me to get off the mountain. I asked him to snap the photo before I left.

It might not have been the best photo. But it was the best day of my life. I'd gone from Death Valley to San Franciso that day -- actually a bit more than a day. But life was so rich that day I had a hard time turning it off.

It's snowing today, maybe I'll try to recreate it.
