Virginia Woolf's "The Waves"

It seems obvious that the challenge title and description is seeking a pictorial interpretation of the novel, rather than just beautiful pictures of waves.
These challenges seem a little more difficult, requiring more thought than the majority of challenges. We need to read, or have read, the novel, so the name of the author is entirely relevent.

Because most entries will not be relevant to the novel. Only to the title.

I see now your point and thanks for sharing it. But, there are still some entries that are indeed related to the content of the work in question rather than the mere definition of the title and therefore, I would still prefer to keep the name of the author. Thanks again for sharing your comment.

Could you then DQ entries that do not provide any information as to how their entry is relative to the literature?
There are reviews, excerpts, translations and possibly the entire book free online - there is no excuse for not finding some correlation between the book and their pic.
Voters, too, don't pay much attention to the rules and just vote for the prettiest picture - give those who follow the rules a chance to actually win.
