The photo has to have a leaning subject, people lean against something or each other, brooms lean against walls, cards in a card house, etc. So find something that leans or leans on something else. This challenge is for those who want to take a new picture , not use something from the archives. See the capture date rule then go make up a scene and take your best shot of it.

Sad to read.
I like the idea of moving the people to take a new photo.

There is a vast number of challenges. Most of them don't have capture date requirement. So the ones who don't like this rule, still can have a broad choice.

I think you still have to go thru trouble to cheat here. The rule is still in effect for those that don't edit their exif data.

The date limit on this challenge is a setting chosen when I set up the challenge initially. I believe it's there to check the date embedded in the photo( when you submit it) to the announce date.

I won't be doing further checks for cheating by people who edit their exif data before uploading to fool the system. I can't remove the limit now. I used a setting that has a check of data during upload to the challenge.

Apparently there are enough people desperate to win at any cost that they are destroying the fun for the rest of us.If I continue as a host, I won't use that setting again until DPR invests in better tools for detection.
