What a collection of sad humourless tossers!

The only reason I didn't enter this is I saw the title and assumed it had something to do with A.A. Milne. Even that Georgian fable would have been too confronting for the Victorian princesses below.

Yes it is a load of crap and I have cant believe that i entered in this low class school boy bottom humor.
In keeping with these comments and sentiments I have withdrawn my entry and deleted it from my gallery.
I suddenly realize after this and the total nonsense result in the Tamron lens travel contest that all is not always as it seems on DPR.

I'm so glad we don't have to worry about a specific capture date.... that would have made this challenge more difficult! And goody, we can choose colour OR black and white.
Next challenge could be nose snot or ear wax. How about toenail clippings?
Get him off the stage and bring the next act on. :-(

Unfortunately, scooper1, admins are twiddling their thumbs. We had a previous challenge about punching people in the face that ended up having some photos of strangers. Despite many protests, DPR did nothing, and the challenge proceeded. I have little hope that this trash will be stopped. Apparently, DPR is perfectly fine with their site being turned into MySpace-type of gutter. Look at the selection of the hosts. This one has 0 posts in the forums and ca. 20% score in the challenges. Like I said before, it seems the selection of the hosts is done by a random number generator.

DPR must feel very secure in its market domination. That may be a mistake if they continue to neglect their image.

I think unless folks start complaining straight to Amazon, nothing will happen.

Really? Couldn't come up with any other ideas? There's so much in the 'Outdoors' that is more art-worthy than animal (I hope human is not allowed) excrement.

Yes, a doctor must become inured to the unpleasantness of dealing with disease, injury, etc, but does this wholly override your reaction to gratuitous filth? If I see animal faeces in a field, that doesn't worry me; if I see dogshit on the pavement, I'm angered against those who let their animals defecate where children might become soiled. I could see the point of photographs of "poop" used, say, in a magazine to arouse the determination to deal with such anti-social behaviour. That would be legitimate use of instinctive disgust towards a valid end; not so in competitions intended to enhance one's pleasure in photography.
