I commented and didn't vote, but the ranking appears to be based on the few who didn't read the rules (again?).

Hey FNG303, don't be prejudice. It is the open public to comment. You, as the host, just sit aside and watch..... :) The photo get more comments is the winner while the one get less is the loser......

Unlike the previous challenge, this one has a more specific theme. Unconventional, original and unusual. Respect the theme in the slightest way and the entry is valid. It takes effort to be DQed.
Most challengers did not bother to put any comment or even acknowledge the comments their entries received in the other one. So this is the end of these 2 experiments.
The easiest thing to do is to "let the voters decide".

Um... Ok? I just just got DQed, and the reason was "Nothing to comment". I am starting to get annoyed with these hosts that make up rules on the fly, and DQ on personal whims.

My photo's merits are not for you to decide. If they were, why didn't say so in the rules? You have stated in the rules that it is up to others to comment. If they don't like it they don't have to comment or vote. What people like, or don't, is subjective. Half the photos posted in this challenge I find not worthy of comment. But, that's my taste... I wouldn't DQ them for it. People like you shouldn't bother hosting challenges.
