Break out of the mold, rise to greater heights and get on top of something and shoot down. Demonstrate your ability to take a photo from this atypical perspective. (See important Additional rules.) Show full rules Announced: Saturday, 20th March, 2010 (GMT) Submissions: Saturday, 27th March, 2010 – Friday, 2nd April, 2010 (GMT) Voting: Saturday, 3rd April, 2010 – Friday, 9th April, 2010 (GMT) Processing rules: Basic image correction (retouch as required) No borders or watermarks No composite images Capture date rules: No restrictions. Additional rules: Images must be taken from a height clearly higher than eye level (e.g. step ladder) and must be aimed mostly downward so we have a sense of perspective. No typical aerial photos or images taken from the tops of tall structures as they don't provide a good sense of perspective. Do not submit images taken with an ultra-wide angle lens that only APPEAR to be taken from a height. No macros or close-up shots (no perspective). If you see an entry that you feel doesn't qualify, use the complaint button and explain why you think it should be disqualified ... but do so well before the submission deadline ends.
