Minimalism

Minimalism is a style of art and photography in which the elements of composiition and subject are kept as simple as possible. There are several ways to achieve this look. It can be the original capture of a minimalist subject, such as a high key shot of a lone bird against the sky. Or it can be done with lighting or post processing, where the elements of an otherwise complex subject such as a face are reduced to line, light and shadow.
