W. Eugene Smith was noted for his ability to tell stories through a series of photographs. According to many photography historians, he is arguably the originator of the "photographic essay". He was certainly a master of that genre as seen in his collections such as "Country Doctor" and "Minamata" He found ways of protraying the nobility of people regardless of the circumstances. His images are very poetic, and in some cases hardly seem like photojournalism. Show us your images which evoke the style of W. Eugene Smith
