Samsung

The bright blue Samsung stand is one of the largest of this year's show and visible from afar. The Korean manufacturer's new NX system has been given a central role in the stand layout, with a wide range of accessories for the system on show. The NX10's camera and lens technologies are being explained in a series of displays and there is also a very appetising breakfast table at which you can hone your food photography skills, of course using the NX10. However, no protoypes of the new system lenses the release of which has been announced for this year appear to be on display.

The newly announced TL500 / EX1 is also attracting a lot of attention. A flip-out OLED screen, F1.8-2.4 lens, RAW capability and control dial make it the most serious enthusiast camera we've yet seen from the company. Product Planner Alec Kim says he sees it as being for expert users and we can certainly imagine it making a nice second camera for DSLR users.
