 Panasonic
The focus of the Panasonic stand is undoubtedly the GH1 announced just as the show opened this morning. There's even a space on the stand to test the face recognition and AF-tracking system that debuts on the camera. Panasonic has clearly been giving thought to the sorts of features its mirrorless cameras can offer that a conventional DSLR design would struggle to imitate.
Also on the stand are some cutaway demonstrations of the optical elements of the four lenses so far announced for the Micro-G system, including the 14-140mm F4.0-5.8 ASPH launched with the GH1 this morning.
In addition, the company is showing off the TS-1 (FT-1 outside the US), its entry into the suddenly crowded shock/waterproof camera sector.
