 Nikon
On the Nikon stand, like those of many of the other big players at PMA 2009, most of the novelty comes in the shape of compact cameras. These include the P90, with its 24x zoom and the L100 with its more modest 15x range. Both offer image stabilization (VR in Nikon-speak) and wide-angle capability, with the L100 starting at 28mm equiv. and the P90 stretching out to 26mm equiv.
Space is also given over to the company's DSLR system, despite the lack of new announcements. The DX 35mm F1.8 G is attracting a lot of attention and, although everyone wants to hold the D3X, the word on the stand is that the combination that nobody wants to put down is the D700 with 50mm F1.4 G.
