Sandisk are using PMA 2005 to showcase the latest high capacity cards in the Ultra II and Extreme III ranges. Highlights from the Ultra II range include a massive 8GB CompactFlash and 4GB Memory Stick Pro, and 2.0GB Memory Stick Duo and SD cards. New to the Extreme III range are a 2.0GB Memory Stick Pro and 4.0GB CompactFlash card.

We also had a play with the yet-to-be released 'SD Plus USB' card - it may look like a standard SD card, but fold it at the hinge and you've got a fully functional USB plug that connects directly to any PC without needing a reader or adaptor. The card will be available in 512MB and 1.0GB versions and even has a mini LED activity lamp. Cool.
