Nokia

In a move that shows how the worlds of photography and mobile telecommunications are getting closer all the time, Nokia is exhibiting at PMA for the first time. The star of the stand is the new 6682 tri-band smart phone with 1.3 megapixel camera, built-in light, RS MMC card slot and the ability to record up to an hour of video. The 6682 also has in-camera image effects and a built-in printing application (you can print wirelessley via Bluetooth or to any compatible PictBridge printer via USB). Nokia has started selling camera phones through selected photo dealers worldwide, and is convinced that models such as the 6682 will start to eat into low end standalone DSC sales.
