Casio continues to refine its popular range of slim metal-bodied Exilim compacts, and is showing three new cameras for the first time at PMA. The Exilim range of slim compacts has been updated to include the EX-Z57, a 5 megpixel / 3x zoom model with a new 2.7-inch screen and a claimed 400 shot per charge battery life. The EX-Z570 is another nicely built slim-ish compact that sports a 7.2 megapixel CCD, 3x zoom and 2.5-inch screen.

Last but by no means least is the $499 Exilim Pro P505, a very cute - and very compact - 5 megapixel model with a 5x zoom, 2.0-inch flip and swivel screen and MPEG-4 VGA / 30fps movie capture. Very nice.
