Sigma

The Sigma stand is host to an awful lot of lenses, including the handful of new mount variants announced earlier today. The company's new SD15 and DP2, second-generation cameras based around the 4.7x3 megapixel Foveon sensor, were also on display. We handled the DP2 prototype but it is too early to say whether the inclusion of the new 'True II' processor has significantly improved its performance compared to the DP1.

Also attracting much attention was the 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG HSM lens that will no doubt sell well to buyers of the recent full-frame DSLRs from Nikon, Sony and Canon.
