Several new lenses from Tamron this week; of most interest to us was the very compact 18-250mm F3.5-5.6 Di II LD Macro (digital cropped sensors only). This was also the first chance we've had to take a look at the EISA award-winning SP AF 17-50mm f2.8 DR Di II LD Aspherical [IF] (again cropped sensor SLRs only) - winner of this year's longest product name competition (and a pretty nice looking lens too).
