Having played with the GoPro Hero2 for a few days now, I can only conclude that this camera is an inexpensive, yet critical staple for any production to have on hand. You just never know when you're going to need the unique point of view and mounting options that the GoPro offers.

Panasonic was the first to make a mirrorless compact system camera, the G1, styled like a small DSLR, as were subsequent models with built in EVF. I propose an alternative design which I believe provides much improved viewing, handling and operating.
