The f0.95 Noctilux lens is made for handheld shots in very low light to extremely low light. Choosing to use the Noctilux means accepting certain compromises: The lens is very heavy for handheld shots, it's very expensive, and sharpness and detail are somewhat less than the best 50 mm Leica lenses.

The brand new Nikon 32 mm for Nikon1 is the best answer from Nikon to those who believe that this system will have short life. This lens not only is in a his own class compared to the other Nikkor 1 but it is - in my opinion - one of the best Nikon's projects last decades.
