Nikon's stand is the first thing you see when entering the show this year, and judging by the race to get in line, it looks like it might be one of the most popular. A large glass cases highlights the cameras, lenses and accessories of Nikon's brand new 1 system, and Nikon is gearing up for several days of seminars and briefings. it has been a quiet year for DSLR news from Nikon, but there's a lot of buzz on the stand around Nikon's new Coolpix and 1-system launches.

|Nikon is also showing a small number of mockups of possible future 1-system products, including dedicated video accessories.||There's no denying that the 1-system is colorful... Nikon is displaying J1s in all the colors of the rainbow (plus a few that aren't).|
Nikon's latest Coolpix cameras were on show as well of course, and at a packed stand, we managed to get our hands on the new P7100, T500 and S1200PJ, among others.

It's been a quiet year for DSLR releases from Nikon, but the Japanese giant has found time to release one DSLR, the D5100, and two lenses, the DX-format AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 40mm F2.8, and the full-frame AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G.
