Hands-on with the Nikon D3300 and 35mm F1.8G lens
Nikon announced its new D3300 entry-level DSLR, along with a collapsable 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 VR II kit lens and FX-format 35mm F1.8G prime. We were able to get our hands on all three at the CES trade show in Las Vegas. While the main differences between the D3300 and its predecessor are on the inside, the new camera is a bit more compact than the D3200. The new 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 VR II lens is shown here, in its collapsed position.
