A nice deep handgrip is always a welcome sight, and the oval-shaped depression towards the bottom of the grip hints at an IR port for remote release. On top of the grip it looks like the forthcoming camera features a fairly conventional shutter button and on/off switch, above a sloping front-mounted control dial.

Could the full-frame sensor feature the same innovative AA filter simulation mode as existing APS-C format Pentax DSLRs? We don't know, but we'd love it if it did. For that matter we'd also be curious whether Ricoh could use that technology to increase effective resolution using a sensor-shift technique, as we've seen in Olympus's E-M5 II.
