Penn Camera now in bankruptcy

Penn Camera says on its Web site it not only has declared bankruptcy, it is closing five of its eight Washington, D.C., area stores. A "clearance" sale is planned at the remaining stores. One of its newest stores in Springfield, Va., is among those stores closing. You can read the company's announcement here

Why is this an Article (which will probably stay around for some considerable time) rather than news (which will be used to wrap Friday's Fish & Chips?
