While many mid-sized American cities have experienced the aches and pains of a large population shift from the urban core to the suburbs, there's a particular poignancy to the abandoned storefronts in downtown Rochester, New York. Swiss photographer Catherine Leutenegger spent time photographing Rochester and Kodak's headquarters, first in 2007 and again in 2012. She answered a few questions about the project (available for purchase in book form) - see some of her work and find out more about what inspired it.
