Video recording with the Canon 60D
I upgraded a couple of years ago my Canon 450D with the Canon 60D as the latter should enable me to take also video recordings.
Performance-wise the 60D has given me every satisfaction during the past two years apart from one aspect, i.e. that there is a serious limitation with regard to the length of continuously recording a HD file. If one is not aware that the camera stops working after about 12 minutes, due to the poor internal buffer's capacity, one can be in for a surprise and be very disappointed.
My advice to any serious video photographer is, don't consider a DSLR for video recordings, unless you are happy in taking only short movie clips, but purchase instead a pure video camera, where such problems don't arise.
