I just ordered the Canon 5D Mark III with a spare Canon battery from Abe's of Maine.
Morris contacted me to confirm my camera order over the weekend and told me about the extended life batter that "lasts 2 hours longer". My understanding was that it was a CANON extended life battery. When I looked up my order to check on the backordered status it showed that it was not a Canon battery but rather the Nikura LP-E6. My previous experience with 3rd party batteries was TERRIBLE!
Can anyone vouch or confirm the value of this battery? It costs more than the original canon so I'll be quite upset if this is what it smells like.
