Beware of Color Contradiction

While using a green screen backdrop, always prefer wrinkled free clothes and backdrop. You can't make your subject to wear anything in green if you are using a green screen. This is because you will be using Chroma key technology for replacing the background. This technology extracts the color green from the video or the pictures. Even if you use a blue color it will extract the blue color. For ex- if you made your subject wear a green shirt then at the time of editing process only the head of the subject will be visible, making it look odd. If you want a horror or funny video and photos, this is recommended.

Maintain Proper Lighting

Lighting is very important in case of Green Screen photography or videography. Make sure you are using proper light from both sides to remove the shadow that appears at the back of the subject on the screen. Check well before shooting to ensure that there are no black spots on the body of the subject and subject isn’t casting shadow on the backdrop. Make proper arrangement and adjustment of the light and the subject to reduce the editing effort.

Use Software to Replace Background

Once the setup is ready, click the shot or make the video and then save it in your PC. Later use green screen software to replace the original green screen background with the desired one and command the tool for processing. Remember to shoot as many shots as you can; this will give you an option to choose the best one.

Adjust the settings of the tool to change the background and maintain the brightness and sharpness of the picture to make it look real.

Save the Final Processed Video and Pictures.

After the editing is over, check it again for any error like the color or brightness issues. When you are satisfied with the final output, just save your video or the pictures on your PC.

Using green screen software is not as difficult as it sounds. These tips will surely help you edit your pictures with much ease.
