London's Royal Geographical Society is set to play host to an exhibition of the shortlisted entries of the 2015 Environmental Photographer of the Year competition. The exhibition, which opens for three weeks on June 22nd, will feature 111 of the best images as selected by the competition's five judges. The ultimate winners will be announced at a ceremony on June 25th.

In its eighth year, the competition aims to highlight environmental and social issues and 'to enhance our understanding of the causes, consequences and solutions to climate change and social inequality'. Judges look for images that draw attention to humanity's impact on the Earth, and which help us to 'think differently about the world around us'. Free to enter, the competition has a top prize of £5000 and additional prizes across four categories sharing a fund of £3000.

For more information on the exhibition visit the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year website.
