In this view, you can see that the grip is a bit small (it's slippery as well). More than one DPR staffer mentioned that the K-S1 is 'awkward to hold', though that's not uncommon for compact DSLRs. As you can see, your thumb has easy access to the camera's sole control dial. To switch between aperture and shutter speed (or exposure comp) you press the button that sites in front of the dial.
