The Pentax K-S1 is an entry-level DSLR with a unique, almost futuristic design with a solid set of features underneath. It features a 20MP CMOS sensor with an 'AA simulator', which lets you choose between high resolution and moiré reduction. As with all Pentax DSLRs, shake reduction is built into the body, so nearly every lens will have image stabilization. The sensor, along with the new Prime MII processor, allow for sensitivities of up to 102,800.
Other features include 5.4 fps burst shooting, a 1/6000 top shutter speed, 1080/30p video, and support for both FLU and Eye-Fi cards.
The K-S1 will be priced $749 / £549 body only, $799 / £599 with an 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 lens, and £679 with that lens as well as a 50-200mm F4-5.6.
