Newbie with Canon 600D

Hi Friends,

I bought a DSLR Canon 600D yesterday..

just need to get some headsup how to start with the camera..

do i need to do any software update / Firmware update.

what all things i need to takecare before i start using the camera.

I was using Panasonic Lumix FZ35 from last 4 years, taken all the photos

in Automatic mode only.

so your suggestions are much much appreciated ..:-)

got two lenses 18 - 55 & 55-250....:-)
