The trail of Ganga!

Why have I done this, I don’t know, may be a result of unfathomable uprising within, which has been growing for a long time now, while I was wandering over the woods, meadows, fields, sea-shores and the rivers. Wandering in the search of usual and unusual patterns for months Sandpaper rubbed images of Google Earth were just enough to keep that mild spark alive. The rejuvenation of creativity which was constantly marred by mundanity of urban life. But marvelous nature of the nature can not be undermined. The Ganga, more than a river for Bharteeya(INDIANs), living in abundance around our lives. A part of prayer, also as a part with prayer, no Hindu prayer is complete without it’s holy submission. Ganga originating from the Himalayas, keep on flourishing the humanity with its serene flow. It has added colors in otherwise plane dry plains of India. Making it’s route through mountains, towns, fields, it joins many in the way, before finally disappearing in the bay of Bengal. This is my artistic and awful journey with Ganga, a journey so different, meant to unfold the beauty and awe within and outside river Ganga. All the pictures have been taken from Google earth.

I started tracing Ganga right from Gangotri.

1. The psychedelic plane flying beside The Ganga

2.  Coloring Ganga

29°17'40.38" N 78°05'38.81" E Further going down, we can see Ganga coloring the land around, proving herself a true heavenly body. A variety of crops are giving it an impression of color pallets.

3. Tied with the strings

5. Inside Threads

25°26'17.99" N 81°53'42.88" E It's Sangam, Allahabad. Ganga has been tied tight across ghats by these threads(bridges).

6. Unconquerable Myths

25°32'09.49" N 83°47'01.77" E While making a 'S' around Mirzapur, it's water stream seems to be making myths with silt coming in it's way.

7. Consequences

25°31'04.66" N 83°52'01.55" E Almost like a Serpentine's outer skin, somewhere around Town Chousa.

8. Standing alone!

25°30'57.64" N 85°43'13.89" E This telecom tower stands alone in the Ganga's water just after it leaves Patna, Bihar.

9. Flames

25°20'18.75" N 86°26'15.19" E Water streams muddled in the silt, looks almost like flames rising near Munger, Bihar.

10. Woman with a hand

A woman is standing inside a dome with her hand in the air. It may look rubbish for few people, but other will really find paintings, patterns interesting.

11. Man, bull, Fox and Eagle!

24°07'17.38" N 88°49'21.37" E This scene gives me a scene of story. A cross armed man with a along spooky hat is looking at a bull, who has two hoods and his horns are visible. On his side is a fox and an eagle is eagerly waiting for the completion of game of fox and bull.

12. The Treasure Fish Island

23°19'47.63" N 90°27'51.21" E While touching its destination the ultimate sea, this treasure full Fish island appears. It looks like a known mystical truth.
